Google Chrome won't connect to internet

Problem:
When using Google chrome I can't connect to the internet but I can use a different browser to connect (Firefox).

Things I tried

• Rebooting (Failed)
• Clearing all history (Failed)
• Reinstalling fresh copy (Failed)
• Setting internal clock "CMOS" (Failed)
• Putting in a new "User" (Solution)
