PLDT survival guide

If you choose PLDT as your ISP better be prepared here are some information that may save your sanity

How to skip annoying answering machine  at 172

Wait for the machine to say "most"  and immediately press 4 to skip

How to speak to an operator 

The Problem with PLDT and why they are so slow.
(This is only based on my observation)

1.  Their costumer support is a joke.  Most of the time when you ask a specific question they will refer you to the support team.  When you ask for the support team they will answer that do not have contact with them.
2.  Always follow up.  Since its very hard for them to get answers from the support team operator will mostly likely tell you that they will follow up.  It kinda odd because customer will follow up a follow up from another follow up.  The y do not designate a person to see through the problem until it is finish.
3.  Prepare a recorder since you will tell every operator the story of your problem.
4.  Operators don't even read your problem.
5.  Support will prematurely close your Ticket problem number without notifying you.   This is specially bad since they will check your line again with their so called "line testing".  Essentially your back in square one waiting for the queue to get a technician.
6.  Be actively checking PLDT because they have the bad habit of forgetting your line still has a problem.
7.  More likely the technician doesn't know what he is doing so they will still testing the same thing over and over again.
8.  PLDT is using subsidiary only for their call center.  So don't expect the operator can tell you anything.  Since it only acts as a hindrance for you.  To be honest I don't think we need such a service because they cannot even communicate with the other department properly.  They are just there as a shock absorber for the people. 
9.  Operator just collects information and throws it to another operator.
10.  PLDT operators has a bad habit of finger pointing.  If you ask a specific question they will say ask the technician.  If you ask the technician they will tell you ask the operator.
11.  PLDT operator use words Escalate Or Prioritize without knowing what it means.  They will keep on using it just to pacify the customer.
12.  Closing without checking.  If you report a problem to PLDT and a major problem occurred once they fix the major problem they will assume that it also fix your problem.  PLDT will close your ticket without notifying you.
13.  Their support team is to lazy to call their customer.  The cannot be bothered
14.  PLDT technician are so unprofessional that they will go to your house late and still tell their superiors the came on time.  Many times they even told their superiors that they came to my house but they did not.
