Cdrom problem

 Having Problems with your CD/Dvd-rom try this steps.

1. Clean the cd with a soft cloth remove all the prints on the

surface.

2. Use a Cd/Dvdrom cleaner to clean the lens of the drive.

3. Use a compress air to clean the dust off the the drive.

4. Copy all the files from the cd and run it from the hardrive.

Note: Sometimes when the cd is damage error occur when installing,

try to copying the files to the hardrive before installing.

5. Reduce the speed of the Cd/Dvd-rom drive in order for the drive

to read more accurately.

Note: Some programs can do this like nero drive speed.

6. Create an iso, most of the ISO creating programs have error

fixing features like Nero or Virtual cd.

Dvd-rom tray problems

Dvd-rom tray won't open

Cause: Poor/weak motor

Remedy: You can try to replace the motor of your Dvd-rom but it

would be more practical to replace the Dvd-rom itself

Cause: The tray itself is not aligned.

Remedy: Place a cd inside the tray to keep it align.
