Paper jam problem with my Canon MP237, MP287

Problem:  My printer won't print and keep on blink 3 times.

Solution:
1.  Check if there are small traces of paper still inside.
2.  There is a small plastic inside the printer check if it is miss aligned.

(It is in the middle of the rollers)

Note:

I've change the black ink and the problem goes away.
