How to download Flash games

SWF - Macromedia Flash
DCR - Adobe Shockwave flash


Method 1

Internet explorer

1. Load the page
2. Goto Temporary Internet files
3. Look for the File extension name SWF
4. The Swf is the file you want copy it to your desired destination
5. Open it with a Web browser (IE, Firefox)

Note: Sometimes Internet explorer do not open this file or open it with the wrong program.
Try this

Open notepad and type this

<*a href="whatevername.swf">whatevertitle<*/a>

<*/body>

<*/html>
Note: remove the *

Then save as Html

Open the Html with a Web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox)

For the IE a pop up blocker message will appear select it and choose temporary allow the pop up

Method 2

1. Load the Web page where the game is
2 Left click on the page and Choose View source
3. Press CTR+F search for the SWF
4. Copy the whole URL example "http://Flashgames/games/swin.swf"
Note:
* Sometimes there are multiple SWF in one web page look for the SWF which is the nearest name to your game
5. Paste it on the address bar
Note:
* Sometimes the address is to long you'll need to remove some characters from the URL.
Example "http://flashgame/games/!@#$%^$%^&&/swim" remove the uneeded characters to reveal the truth url ""http://flashgame/games/swim.swf"
6. If the Address is correct the game will show
7. goto File then choose save as "html" then type a file name
8. Double click on the Html to play

Warning
Do not clean up your temporary internet files because the game will stop to work

3. Press CTR+F search for the SWF

1. Open the web page which is where the game is embedded
2. For Mozilla firefox goto Tools ---> page info --->Media
3. Look for the embedded files
4. select the file and then "save as"

1. Open the web page where the game is embedded
2. Left click on the page and choose "View page info ---> media
3. Look for the embedded files
4. select the file and then "save as"

Warning: Sometimes the "Save as" botton does not work. I do not know if this is bug but when I Mozilla it works just fine

Note: Do not be confuse I used both the newer Mozilla firefox and the older Mozilla browser

4. select the file and then "save as"
