Troubleshooting EPSXe 1.6.0 and 1.7.0

Problem: When Configuring EPSXe 1.6.0 an alert shows saying "WNASPI32.DLL" was not found

Solution: You can search for WNASPI32.DLL on the web or check the related links to download and paste it on the same folder as the ESPXe 1.6.0.exe to solve the problem.

Problem: EPSXe 1.6.0 is too fast

Solution:

It is a common problem of EPSXE 1.6.0 the speed is too much, here some ways to reduce the speed of EPSXE 1.6.0

1. First open the Video configuration

2. Check the Auto FPS limit

3. Also click the "NIce" Button below to improve the graphics and reduce speed.

Problem: I can't play Crono Cross because the game slows down when I use the elements.

Solution: Goto config then choose video, then configure, when the options window open look for misc check Activate special game fixes and press the ... button. Another window will appear check Short DMA check then Ok.

Problem: I reach the point of the game when Serge when to the past to save Kid but the screen only shows a portion of the video and the rest is black.

Solution: There is a way for this first go to config then choose video then change the plugin to Pete's soft driver 1.46.

Problem: The names of the elements flicker and sometimes do not show.

Solution: I seems there no solution to this but In Disk 2 the problem is already fix.
Tip: When choosing an element it is highlighted and the information shows at the top of the screen.


Problem: I receive and error with a file "Zlib1.dll"

Solution: Your missing the file "Zlib1.dll". Download the file and copy it to the directory of EPSXE 1.7.0
